Inside MLG: Columbus

What Is It:

A mini documentary about Starcraft 2 and e-sports. I went to the MLG (Major League Gaming) tournament held in Columbus, Ohio that was held June 3-5, 2011.
Part 1 is a stylish look at the Koreans that dominated the tournament. Part 2 is a more traditional documentary focusing on the top Foreigner, Eg. Idra followed up by a montage of the little moments I captured.

Additional Notes

The little kid told me his name but I didn’t write it down. At MLG we referred to him as The Littler One but then I noticed his shirt says Day One on it so we named him day[1].
At 5:35 MMA is talking to Mr. Chae about the game MMA destroyed his command center. They both had a pretty good laugh over it and Idra leaving. We interviewed MMA before he won so his prediction was correct. He interviewed shortly after his game with Idra.
The opening shot of Part 2 is iNcontrol and Idra’s girlfriend Katy watching his final game with MMA. The shot at 1:00 minute of Idra, his gf and most of EG was immediately after he was knocked out. His smirk at 1:40 was after he beat MC on day 1.
At 2:25 Machine celebrates after beating sixjax Major. At 5:30 Idra, iNcontrol and Machine are talking about the MC Idra game from day 1.
At 9:30 you can see a nuke going off in TLO’s game. That’s his famous nuke against iNcontrol. 10:05 Drewbie get’s Losira’s autograph. 10:24 was Thorzain immediately after losing to MC.
